Vitafoam records N9.7 billion in 2009 |

VITAFOAM Nigeria Plc has posted a turnover of N9.7 billion in its 2009 operations.Presenting its result alongside others to council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and shareholders last week, its audited result for the year ended September 30, 2009, showed a turnover of N9.7 billion, as against N8.1 billion in 2007. Its profit after tax and exceptional income stood at N510.8 million compared to N698.3 million in 2008. The directors of the company had earlier recommended a divided of N0.25 per share to its shareholders.The date of closure of register for members is stated as February 15, 2010 while payment is due for March 19, 2010.Unaudited result of Northern Nigeria Flour Mills Plc for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009 showed a turnover of N7.9 billion, higher than 6.6 billion recorded in the comparable period in 2008 while profit after tax stood at N388.31 million, compared with N99.4 million in 2008. For Nigeria Bag Manufacturing Company Plc, its unaudited result for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009 showed a turnover of N7.5 billion, as against N7.4 billion recorded in the comparable period in 2008. The company's profit after tax also stood at N371.2 million. Up from N79.21 million recorded in 2008.Unaudited result of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009 showed a turnover of N97.5 billion as against N89.3 billion recorded in the comparable period in 2008. Its profit after tax stood at N2.3 billion, higher than N1.9 billion in 2008.Chellarams Nigeria Plc's unaudited result for the half year ended September 30, 2009 showed a turnover of N9.1 billion, up from N7.7 billion recorded in 2008. While its profit after tax stood at N247.8 million, higher than N199.7 million in 2008. Unaudited result of Aso Savings & Loans Plc for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009 showed a gross earnings of N7.9 billion, as against N8 billion recorded in the comparable period in 2008 while its profit after tax stood at N552 million, compared with N1.2 billion in 2008.Resort Savings & Loans Plc's unaudited result for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009 showed gross income of N854.7 million, over N423.23 million recorded in the comparable period in 2008. The company's profit after tax also stood at N231.4 million, compared to N79.9 million in 2008.Neimeth International Pharmaceutical Plc forecasts a turnover of N1.9 billion and profit after tax of N65.5 million during the twelve months ending March 31, 2010.Presco Nigeria Plc forecasts a turnover of N900.0 million and profit after tax of N124.6 million during the first quarter ending March 31, 2010.Similarly, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc forecasts a turnover of N36.4 billion and a profit after tax of N920.0 million during the first quarter ending March 31, 2010. Aso Savings & Loans Plc a turnover of N3.9 billion and profit after tax of N506.4 million during the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2010.Nigeria Bag Manufacturing Plc also forecasts a turnover of N10.4 billion and profit after tax of N557.6 million during the year ending March 31, 2010 while Livestock Feeds Plc forecasts a turnover of N801.5 million and profit after tax of N32.42 million during the first quarter ending March 31, 2010 |
