 AFRICAN EXPLOSIVES ZAMBIA PLC - SUMMARY RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENED 31 DECEMBER 2010 |

The Company recorded a revenue of K223,210 million (2008: 150,579 million). Profit before tax was K8,576 milllion (2008: 7,965 million). After charging a taxation of K 2,982 million ( 2008: K1,382 million), profit for the period recorded was K 5,594 million ( 2008: K6,583 million). The EPS for the year was K274.1 (2008: K322). The Directors have recommended that dividend of K60 per shre be paid to members registered in the books of the Company at close of business on 30 april 2010 and payable on or before 30 June 2010. |
