| EBITDA - Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, Amortisation. EBITDA gives an indication of a company's financial performance and is usually calculated as: = Revenue - Expenses (excluding tax, interest, depreciation and amortization) EBITDA has gained popularity because it can be used to analyze and compare profitability between companies and industries eliminating any distortions caused by the effects of financing and accounting decisions. |
