Welcome to African Financial Markets Database |
The goal of the African Financial Markets Database is to provide you with accurate and timely information to assist you with making investment decisions in Africa. You can access up to 20 years of detailed company fundamentals,financial statements, share price information, director details, major shareholders, broker research, corporate news, commentary and analysis. We provide pan-African research and stock selection tools allowing you to easily compare investments across countries. You can create your own watchlist and receive email alerts on your selected stocks. You can subscribe for a weekly newsletter that analyses current developments in African equity markets. Our graphic tools allow you to chart share price performance in local currencies or in any of the major G7 currencies, benchmark stocks against local, pan-African indices, or up to four other stocks. You just select the stocks and indices you want to study and the graphic tool will show you the comparisons. We have an extensive news database with over 10,000 news and research items that is updated on a daily basis and has very simple and user-friendly search facilities. The development of this website and its content is an ongoing project we will be continuously improving available information. Our data on share price performance is comprehensive and covers all companies listed on all stock exchanges in Africa. However our database on the financial statements of African companies is being built up to full coverage.
